Lieutenant Murphy, fondly known as "Murph" by his comrades, exemplified bravery, selflessness, and dedication to duty. The challenge serves as a lasting tribute to his memory and the countless others who have given their lives in service to our country.
To complete the Murph Challenge, participants must push their physical and mental limits by undertaking a series of demanding exercises. The requirements of the challenge are as follows:
- Run 1 mile: Begin the challenge with a one-mile run, reflecting the endurance needed in military operations.
- Perform 100 pull-ups: Test upper body strength and stamina through 100 pull-ups, a nod to the physical demands faced by servicemembers.
